Boomerang AU · VIP comparison
Boomerang VIP programme
A Boomerang VIP enquiry should produce a concrete account-specific proposal, including currency, qualifying amount and the benefit attached to it. This guide explains how to compare that proposal without treating third-party banners as current account terms.

Put the complete proposal in writing
Start by identifying the relevant account, programme period and contact channel. Then connect the proposed offer to its written conditions. A brand name or a large deposit amount alone does not confirm a particular match percentage, no-wagering treatment or payment limit.
For a proposal starting at $1,000, establish the currency before comparing the threshold. A$1,000 is an Australian-dollar amount; US$1,000 is a US-dollar amount. A payment that starts in one currency and arrives in another needs a quoted destination amount, including any deductions. The threshold can refer to the amount sent or the amount credited, depending on the offer.
The useful written proposal identifies the account, offer period, qualifying payment and exact benefit. It also states whether acceptance is automatic, selected in the cashier or confirmed by a host. An account-level offer should remain available after the conversation so the credit can be matched to the terms that produced it.
What “2×” means at a $1,000 deposit
“Double the balance” normally describes a 100% match: a $1,000 deposit plus a $1,000 bonus gives a $2,000 combined starting balance. A “200% bonus” describes a $2,000 bonus on that same deposit, creating a $3,000 combined balance before other conditions. The wording must state which of these calculations is intended.
| Example wording | Deposit | Bonus | Combined starting balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100% match / balance doubled | A$1,000 | A$1,000 | A$2,000 |
| 200% bonus | A$1,000 | A$2,000 | A$3,000 |
| 100% match capped at A$500 | A$1,000 | A$500 | A$1,500 |
These are comparison scenarios, not a confirmed live VIP promotion. A deposit threshold from A$1,000 and a zero-wagering assumption are shown so the requested proposal can be evaluated precisely. Availability, currency, cap and cashout treatment must come from the offer actually attached to the account.
Compare the proposed amount
Bonus = smaller of deposit × percentage or bonus cap. Currency selection changes the unit; it does not perform an exchange conversion.
Use 100 in the percentage field for a match equal to the deposit, or 200 for a bonus twice the deposit. Keep a finite cap even when the headline uses a large percentage: the cap can reduce the effective match on a larger payment. The calculator does not add cashout limits, fee deductions or exchange margins to the combined amount.
Zero wagering and cashout treatment
A 0× wagering condition means the specified amount has no turnover requirement under that condition. It does not by itself say whether the bonus principal is cashable, whether winnings have a maximum, or whether the offer expires. Each of those is a separate field in a useful VIP comparison.
For a cashable bonus, ask whether the credited principal is included in a permitted withdrawal. For a sticky bonus, identify when the promotional amount is removed and how that changes the displayed total. If winnings have a cap, state the cap in the same currency as the deposit. These distinctions explain why two zero-wagering headlines can produce different available cash balances.
| Field | What to obtain |
|---|---|
| Qualifying deposit | Exact currency, minimum and eligible method |
| Match | 100% or 200%, plus the maximum bonus |
| Wagering basis | The exact credit covered by 0× |
| Cashability | Whether principal and resulting winnings are withdrawable |
| Cashout cap | Amount, currency and the balance it applies to |
| Validity | Activation event, expiry and timezone |
Compare service benefits separately
A personal contact, higher transaction allowance and recurring reward are distinct benefits. Record the contact channel and the process for an unresolved request. For a payment allowance, record its amount, period, timezone and whether the limit counts requested, approved or completed transfers. “Priority” needs a concrete service description before it can be compared.
For cashback, write down the definition of eligible net loss, the calculation period and the resulting balance type. For loyalty rewards, separate status points from redeemable points and include review dates. A recurring reward earned after activity should not be added to a deposit bonus as if both are immediately available cash.
Keep a compact VIP offer record
- Save the account-specific proposal, its date and currency.
- Record the deposit quote and the activation step.
- Compare the credited cash and bonus with the written match and cap.
- Retain the host or case reference for any missing condition.
VIP comparison questions
How does a 100% match differ from a 200% bonus?
At a deposit of A$1,000, a 100% match adds A$1,000 and creates a combined A$2,000 balance. A 200% bonus adds A$2,000 and creates A$3,000. Apply the offer cap and cashability conditions separately.
Does choosing USD in the calculator convert an AUD amount?
No. The selected currency labels the entered amount. For a currency conversion, use a current quote and calculate the destination credit after the fees defined by that quote.
Why can the combined balance differ from withdrawable cash?
The combined display may include cashable funds, restricted bonus principal and winnings with separate conditions. Cashability, wagering and a cashout cap describe different properties of that balance.
What should be confirmed before accepting a personalised proposal?
Obtain the qualifying amount, method, percentage, cap, expiry, cashout treatment and relevant account reference together. Those fields make the final credited benefit comparable with the offer.
